my tip:
-if you're the kind who needs music when you're studying, listen to your favorite song on replay when thinking of how to write a song. and i can almost guarantee that you're the kind who write lyrics first, then the tune.
-if you need silence when studying, you think of the tune either in your head or hum it out loud when thinking of how to write a song. then after that you would think of the lyrics.
okay, i'm not sure about this tips but i derived it from a couple of friends who tried writing a song and their studying methods are different.
but, if you don't trust me, trust my friend, Hayles(Hayley), who is in a band. she said: write the music first. THEN the lyrics.
doesn't matter if it sounds like a familiar song. mine sounds like "according to you" by orianthi.
point is:you didn't copy something, you created something.
BIG MAJOR TIP: change "writing" to "creating". this helped me.

You know what. Staying at home sucks. I wish I could be in school. I'm feaking bored. Oh and I think I'm the cause of the H1E3 cos I was sick the first last wednesday then I think I passed to christen then it spread from there.
